Hey y’all! So since I launched this blog only a few weeks after Grant and I got married, I have a few things I’m having to add to the blog like our engagement photos.
While these are not new, I sure did love looking through them all again last night. They could never get old to me. Beautiful photos by our wedding photographers Luke and Cat out of Houston at their beautiful South Texas Ranch near Wharton. And they welcomed our sweet little Bucky to join in on the shoot which makes these photos even so much more meaningful to Grant and I. My makeup is my Leanna Duran of Naturally Flawless here in College Station!
The best advice came from Luke and Cat to only pick one outfit so we could spend the rest of the time losing ourselves into each other and having the cameras to capture it all. I’m used to photo shoots having a ton of outfit changes with owning a boutique, so this was a nice break and relief for me. I am so glad I took their advice because I feel my ease and relaxation I feel when I’m with Grant really shines through! And trends will change, however these photos will stay timeless. So with that, I also suggest wearing something solid or more simple verses loud prints and lots of accessories.
If you haven’t seen these yet, I hope you enjoy. And if you have already see them, know that I’m working on adding more and more to my blog!
All the feels for me today since I got to dive back into our engagement photos 🙂
xo,
May I please ask where this dress is from? I’m need of a wedding guest dress and this would be perfect!
Lulus!
Okay the pictures with your dog baby are sooo cute!!
Awwww the dog
I love how you involve Bucky in everything!!!
I also wanted to mention that whenever I was a sophomore in college I went to Southern Jewlz for one of the first times with my friend. I was there to help her shop because her family had given her birthday money. I grabbed this cute maxi dress and went to try it on and was worried it was too short for me. This was the only size left so going up a size wasn’t an option. My friend said it looked fine but I thought it was a little too short to look good. You happened to be there and you came around from the register area to the dressing room and told me that the dress was too short and agreed with me. Instead of forcing a sale you told the truth. At the time I thought you were just a stylist or maybe a cashier, but I still thought that was an honest thing to say. You talked me through how the dress did not fit me. You could have made an easy sale that day but you chose to be honest. Since then I’ve been a loyal customer and as you and your business has grown I can say you’ve stayed true to yourself. You are an inspiration!!!!
Awwwww thanks for sharing! I’m def not in it for the short quick sale! Love having you along this journey!
