Current Life Update – Goodbye Summer Hello Fall

Hey y’all! So I have soooo many things happening in my world that I wanted to just give y’all a current life update for a blog post.

Grant and I have just returned from 2 weekends of traveling. First was to Aspen, Colorado for my family vacation and this past weekend was to Los Angeles, California for the Aggie Football Game. I still need to blog an overview of Aspen for y’all. It was incredible!!! But now I am excited to have a few weekends at home to catch up on some work projects and maybe get to even sneak in a little R&R time with my hubby and Bucky! If you don’t already keep up with my daily life – you can through my snapchat or my instagram stories.

I will be setting up a Southern Jewlz pop up shop this Thursday (11-4) and Friday (11-7) at Catwalk Hair Studio. I have gotten my hair done at this salon for 8 years now and am dear friends with the owner Tiffany! I will have lots of great maroon pieces perfect for the first Aggie Football home game (you can see the game day collection here). I’ll also have some fall transition pieces, too. We will have some specials and door prizes happening for those who come in to shop, so plan to come see me. The salon is located at 1877 Briarcrest Drive in Bryan!

The next thing on my list is we have a Fall Advertisement Photo Shoot with the crew from GT Studios in Navasota! This will be my first Southern Jewlz shoot with them, however this adorable picture of Grant and I at the pool was taken by them. Tim and Glen are super creative and I can’t wait to see what all magic they create for our new Fall line! We are opening the photo shoot up to the public! Yes, we actually encourage you to attend and will be giving away $500 worth of giveaways. I would love for you to come see more behind the scenes of my work! So be sure to like the event on Facebook here (you can find the guidelines to enter the giveaway). The $500 giveaway includes something from everyone helping in on the shoot:

$100 Southern Jewlz Gift Card
$100 GT Studios Gift Card
$100 beauty package from Lizzy Boutique Salon
$65 Cut & Style from Madison’s Avenue Salon and Boutique
$85 beauty package from Bold Lines Artistry
$50 Gift Card to Classic Rock Coffee Navasota.

Our Hurricane Harvey Shirts will be here next Tuesday! 100% of the proceeds will benefit Hurricane Victims. Place your pre-orders here. I designed them all myself and think they are super adorable. There are so many places who have too many physical donations and too many volunteers, so I figured there can never be enough money donations to give.

I will be going Facebook LIVE tomorrow (Wednesday September 6) to go over the upcoming photo shoot giveaways and to answer any questions you may have.

Besides that, I just wanted to thank each of you for your support. Summer has ended and now comes a new season. I am so thankful that I closed my storefront to be able to take on so many more projects for my business and my blog. Grant sure does love having me around more and he even steps in to help me on some of my projects when I need an extra hand. Having you all adjust through my transformation is appreciated so much more than you know! I know Grant and I won’t get to be newlyweds except for once in our lives, so I love being able to make him my first priority over my business that has previously been my priority. I am also taking some time and energy to finish decorating our new home. My goal is to be all done by the end of the year to share with y’all the beginning of 2018!

I love being married and having someone to share my life with. I even think getting married has helped encourage me to share more of my life with y’all. That’s why I waited to launch my lifestyle blog until after the wedding. I mentioned it before in this post, but I super love this photo taken by GT Studios. It will forever remind me of my first Summer as a married woman!

I have some super cute new fashion blogs to continue to share with y’all, too! So stay tuned!

xo,
