Hey y’all! I am so excited to share this blog post with y’all because it was the last outfit of my first professional blog post shoot. You can kind of tell that because we were losing natural light super fast. James Barrett, the photographer of this series, hung in there with me until the end and I think some of the best magic was some of these shots. I feel it’s where I look the most comfortable and confident in front of the camera. I have spent far more of the past almost 10 years styling and working with models to showcase my brand, but now I love stepping back out in front to show each of you my own style!

I am so thankful for each of your love and support as I have become a lifestyle blogger myself. I have some new and exciting projects in the works that may have never even came to be an opportunity without my blog. Putting yourself out there can seem overwhelming at times to some, but I think if you focus on YOUR style and what YOU love and become brave enough to share it with the world – well that’s a beautiful thing! I love street style and following so many other bloggers. The community as a whole seems to be very uplifting, and I LOVE an uplifting environment. I set a lot of lofty goals and wanted to make some things come to life for 2017, and I am continuing to push forward and holding myself accountable! The world is a big place full of tons of opportunities. We are more connected now than ever before, which can also play a vital role in opportunities for individuals, bloggers and brands. So if there is something you’ve been wanted to do, a place you’ve wanted to travel to, a goal you’ve wanted to reach – I encourage you to keep pushing forward to make that vision a reality. Continuous steps forward is the way to go! I look at these pictures and I see a woman going in the direction of her dreams – confidently and consistently. That’s why these blog photos are my favorite to date.

Sometimes when scrolling through social media or reading/looking at other blogs, it can be easy to think “I wish I….”. But I think we should all try to think of something we are thankful for within our own lives. Becoming content and happy with who you are and what you have is a huge step towards happiness! I am a super high achiever, so I always want to do and achieve more. But that doesn’t mean I should not realize the all the blessings in my life. Less comparison and more contentness (with a sense of future achievement) is my mindset right now.

This outfit is all from my boutique Southern Jewlz! The blush choker top is under $40 and also comes in maroon. I’m wearing the small/medium. The fringe denim skirt has been one of our best sellers all year. I’m wearing a size small. The denim jacket is a closet staple for sure, plus it’s under $50! Again I’m wearing a size small. And I topped it off with a clean little blush cross body. The shoes are by my girl Jessica Simpson, but they are sold out as they were last season. The Fall 2017 collection will launch THIS Thursday and I’m so excited! Until then, you can shop our newly updated sale collection for up to 80% off!

I was listening to The Piano Guys channel on Youtube while editing this blog post. I walked down the aisle to A Thousand Words by them on the day of our wedding. And our first dance was to Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran. So when one of the newer of his songs called “Perfect” came on the Piano Guys channel, it was the perfect editing inspiration. It’s a beautiful song you should check out if you haven’t already!
